I currently work as a staff nurse at the James Cancer Hospital with surgical oncology patients. This is my 8th year in practice. I am a charge RN, preceptor for new/float staff nurses and involved with the unit council and recently appointed the Education Committee Chair for my floor. I am trying to lead the change I’d like to see in nursing by becoming involved in councils.
