Special Meeting to Vote on the Dissolution of MODNA

MODNA will hold a special meeting to vote on the dissolution of MODNA and final distribution of the organization’s assets. The MODNA Board of Directors is proposing dissolution by December 31, 2023 and dividing all remaining assets among the local units (OSUNO, OSUTNO, Mary Rutan) that were in the Mid-Ohio District Nurses Association as of June 30, 2023, proportional to membership as of June 30, 2023. Please note that MODNA is a separate entity from ONA or your local unit if a collective bargaining member, a dissolution vote at MODNA will not affect your ONA membership status or any Collective Bargaining Agreement. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail in mid-April.

All awards are paid directly to the education institution of enrollment.

Recipients may use the funds for any educational expense.

Plaques will be presented to the scholarship recipients at Mid-Ohio District’s Annual Dinner Meeting on the second Wednesday evening in May.

Each applicant may receive a scholarship only one time. Candidates not awarded a scholarship may re-apply during future application periods.

The deadline for submission of all scholarship applications and included supporting documents, as outlined in the 'Application Requirements' tab on page 2, is the 3rd Friday of February.
