My position at the association is Director of Nursing Practice. I have been employed in this position since June of 2000. This is my 42nd year of nursing!
Generally, I cover questions and concerns about nursing education, nursing practice, nurses as volunteers, nursing law and rules...and anything that impacts the ability of a nurse to carry out his/her practice in a safe environment. If it doesn't fit in health policy, continuing education, or labor relations, it probably belongs to me.
