I love Nursing Professional Development and am grateful to serve as the Senior Director of Professional Practice for ONA. Prior to coming to ONA, I enjoyed working at OhioHealth as a registered nurse for over 20 years.to My career at Riverside varied from Medical Surgical to Critical Care. I was also a clinical educator with the Nursing Research and Excellence department where I worked with a great team encouraging and implementing nursing research and evidence based practice among staff nurses while also supporting Magnet re-designation and developing education and supporting unit based educators.
In addition, I have a lovely family. My husband and I are very involved in our local church and lead a weekly home bible study with our close friends. We have had the opportunity to support missions work in both Haiti and Cambodia. The joy of my life is supporting a missions hospital in Cambodia and being a part of the development and implementation of education for the Cambodian nurses who practice at the hospital.
