I started out my nursing practice in the emergency department, which quickly became my nursing first love. Through becoming a preceptor to staff and a senior nursing student, I found my passion for nursing education, improving practice, and impacting the greater good beyond my local unit, department, and hospital.
As many say, we are the sum of all our experiences. Therefore I am an emergency nurse, patient advocate, nursing professional development practitioner, teacher, coach, wife, mom and many more things in between.
