  • ANCC Seeks New Board of Directors Members

Dear ANA Member, There are many benefits of being an ANA member and one is the opportunity to shape the future of nursing by becoming a volunteer leader on one of ANA’s many boards and committees. Volunteering is a great way to demonstrate leadership and develop your professional network with other RNs across the nation. The ANA Committee on Appointments is currently seeking nominations for appointment to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board of Directors. As an ANA subsidiary with a mission to promote excellence in nursing and healthcare globally through credentialing programs, ANCC depends on the board of directors to guide its future and protect the health of the organization. The ANCC board is made up of nurses and non-nurses from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise including credentialing, technology, health care business financing, business operations, and marketing. To view the official Call for Nominations for Appointive Positions on the ANCC Board of Directors and submit a nomination, visit the Committee on Appointments page at NursingWorld.org. Nominations must be submitted by 5:00pm Eastern Time on Monday, June 1 to be considered. We hope you will consider submitting a nomination and encourage your fellow members (C/SNA-ANA or ANA-Only) to take advantage of this opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to ANCC and the nursing profession. Please feel free to send an e-mail to leader@ana.org if you have any questions.
