The state of Texas was thrust into the national spotlight when it treated the first case of Ebola in the U.S. at the end of September. The city of Dallas had to quickly mobilize and determine how to best support all health care workers and hospitals and other care facilities while planning for the real possibility that more patients with Ebola would present themselves. This webinar, on Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. ET presented by Texas Nurses Association and Texas Organization of Nurse Executives, will highlight what nurses need to know to effectively handle Ebola cases, including chief nursing officer preparation, critical resource mobilization, balanced communications, and practical application of new processes and procedures.
