Volunteer Bio

Peggy Ann Berry, PhD, RN, COHN-S has worked in occupational safety and health since 1990. She is a certified occupational health nurse specialist, receiving a masters’ in 2007 in Occupational Safety and Health Nursing followed by a doctorate in Nursing Research from University of Cincinnati in 2015.
Since 2010, Dr. Berry has been an advocate for chemical transparency in the hydrolytic fracking industry. She has partnered and participated through Earthworks, EarthJustice, the Alliance of Nurses for Health Envrionemnts for testimony on chemical transparency and Methane New Source Rules to EPA public hearings. She lobbys as a volunteer with State and National represents on clean air and water. Dr. Berry has published and presented in webinars on the the human health effects of workplace bullying and climate change.
