Description:

The Community Health and Environmental Special Interest Caucus researches specific environmental or community health issues and presents the information to the ONA board for informed decision-making regarding any position that ONA might decide to adopt. 

The Caucus works in an advisory capacity to ONA's Board of Directors and specific work is at the discretion of the Caucus and Board.

Duties may include:
-Developing continuing education;
-Position statements; and
-General research

There is not a specific appointment timeframe; those interested in the caucus may join at any time.

Time Commitment
The caucus usually meets quarterly via conference call and has occasional in-person meetings.
